Our fully equipped ClubHotels, of which we have five, are situated within some of the most idyllic settings in the world. Being of such close proximity to the slopes, the snowy mountains are literally on your doorstep. We pride ourselves on running a variety of operations to the highest standards such as full season, peak season, summer season, tours and WW1 packages. Our main duty is to provide enriching and inspiring experiences for school groups so that each child has fond memories of their time with Equity. We also supply Rocket Ski holidays for any guests who have a passion for skiing – these trips are bespoke and tailor made to cater for each individual need. Customer Service:

• To make contact with all guests each morning and evening, giving them useful information and making sure their holiday is as good as it can be.
• Ensure the smooth running of transfers to and from the resort, meeting and greeting the guests
• Accompany guests back from the airport and organise their lift passes, ski tuition and ski hire if not already sorted.
• Accompany guests to the airport on departure and assist with check-in procedures
• Organise and run an evening entertainments program for both school groups and adults and ensure any special requirements are dealt with
• Book instructors with ski school, book and collect lift passes, work with local ski hire shop for any extra skis needed and be present at ski fit to ensure the process runs smoothly
• Deal with any medical, police and insurance matters on behalf of the guests which may require hospital/police station visits from time to time
• Deal with any customer complaints and requests promptly and efficiently
• To report and deal with any guest feedback as appropriate, recording and sharing information with Hotel Manager and Heads of Department
• To encourage guests to complete the customer feedback forms

Financial Awareness and Sales:

• Selling ski packs, ski upgrades and entertainments in resort, taking payment and record in line with company procedure

Organisation and Administration:

• To maintain a tidy and orderly work area at all times
• Accuracy of all administration such as financial paperwork, incident reports, weekly reports etc.
• To communicate and flow appropriate information to hotel team

Ski Technician:

• To maintain all company ski equipment to the highest standard
• Provide an efficient and safe ski fitting and advice service
• Encourage sales of ski servicing for guests’ own ski equipment
• Liaise with in-resort ski and snowboard hire shops to ensure the best service is provided to our guests
• Assist the Customer Service team with transfers to and from the resort, meeting and greeting the guests
• To be part of the customer service team with regard to ski sales & evening entertainment programme
• Complete weekly paperwork regarding outside ski hire
• Weekly stocktake of company ski equipment

Person Specification and Skills:

• Confident, outgoing, driven, motivated and enthusiastic
• Organised in all aspects of the role
• Passionate about the ski industry
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to present in front of groups of people
• Calm in a crisis and able to handle stressful situations
• Good eye for detail and accuracy when completing paperwork
• Persuasive when speaking to guests
• Conversational / Fluent French an advantage
• Good level of ski/snowboard ability an advantage
• Full clean driving licence an advantage
• Ski Technicians Certificate (something we put you through with our partner Salomon)
