Description
As a Chalet Chef you will be expected to help run an efficient and cost effective chalet, ensuring excellent quality food and service for up to 10 guests in France and 20 guests in Austria. Coupled with a smooth and efficient operation in resort, providing a comprehensive resort service to guests with exceptionally high standards ensuring customer satisfaction at all times.

You will have an enthusiasm for food that shows quality of produce, creative presentation and flair. You will also have the ability to relate well to people and their needs, dietary or otherwise. You will need to be able to work well with your team members. You will work to a generous budget where you choose your menu and with which you can spoil your guests.

Duties will include:
- shopping or ordering of all food/kitchen items
- relationships with suppliers
- responsibility for cleanliness of kitchen areas
- menu planning and design
- prepping and cooking breakfasts, afternoon tea and 4 course evening dinners
- in addition 2 x fresh canapés each evening
- liaising with guests on dietary and special needs.
- budget conscious & stock controlling

Requirements
Applicants must be a minimum of 23 years of age, preferably with industry and catering experience at the high end. Must have a UK passport, bank account and National Insurance number.
