Your duties will include
Airport transfers – driving guests to and from a number of local airports
Resort shuttles – driving guests to other resorts in the morning and collecting them again in the late afternoon
Maintaining all resort vehicles to a high standard of cleanliness and safety undertaking daily and weekly vehicle checks
Guest relations – greeting guests as their first point of contact when meeting them at the airport, assisting them with all aspects of their holiday including helping with their hire requirements, delivering lift passes, welcome meetings and point of contact during the week
Ski / Board hosting as required
Resort facilitation including lift pass orders, collecting apartment keys, etc
Cleaning apartments when required to an agreed standard
Laundry and ironing of bed linen as required
The role needs a very flexible approach. You will working in part of a team and will be required to turn your hand to a wide variety of tasks. Knowledge of the French language will be useful but is not essential.
A full and clean driving license is required. Previous experience of driving a minibus or larger vehicles is necessary and experience of driving in winter conditions would be useful. Due to insurance cover drivers must have held a driving license for 3 years, and would ideally be over the age of 25, depending on experience.
Your working day can be long and will vary in length with one full day off per week.
You will be provided with a competitive salary, accommodation for the season, travel to and from the resort, a full season’s lift pass, equipment hire if required and medical insurance.
This role begins on Christmas week and finishes on 19th April 2009.
