Chalet Edelweiss Megeve is a six bedroom en suite chalet with a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. The chalet is also fully equipped and within walking distance of Megeve town centre.
When the chalet is occupied, tasks for chalet staff will be to prepare, provide and wait upon the following meals and fully tidy away afterwards:
- Breakfast for Children and Adults
- Afternoon cake and teas for apres ski
- Dinner for children at 6pm, a simple main course and dessert
- Pre Dinner drinks and canapes
- Dinner for adults of a good standard with starter, main course and dessert
All menus must be prepared in advance and approved a minimum of a week in advance when guests are staying.
Chalet staff will be responsible for cleaning and tidying the chalet all season and maintaining the pool complex to a high standard. When occupied, you will also make all of the beds each day and tidy bedrooms in the morning and in the evening after the children have bathed, and turn down beds at night.
Requirements of the successful applicant:
- the ability to drive
- Good with Children
- Must have some relevant work experience
- Be able to cook to a good standard
- Some French would be preferable
- CRB Check
- Full references will be required professional and personal
- Couples will also be considered
- Responsibility for calling in relevant people to make repairs etc
The benefits package for the successful applicant includes:
- Circa £100 per week depending on the applicants level of experience
- Accomodation
- Own bedroom with double bed, TV and en suite shower room
- Food and utilities included with use of TV, DVD, wireless connected computers
- Ski pass for the season but this will be refunded at the end of the season
- Use of chalet facilities
- If over the age of 25 use of a car
As the chalet is for private use only, there will be a great deal of free time without the family being present. Dates to be confirmed but the chalet will be fully occupied over the Christmas and New Year period and some weekends, one week in February and at Easter. Outside of these periods the staff will have free time but will be expected to wash all bedding and do general laundary and to maintain the chalet and pool area. Also, staff will need to be fully prepared for the family and guests next visit this would include preparation of menus and shoppping.
