You can join us for two weeks or for the whole season - you will always receive first class service. As a specialist gap year provider we offer a full Briefing day and BBQ before you leave. We have British Skiforce staff in country to meet you. Our Skiforce chalet is right in the centre of Morzine with its own bar. Plus we give you actual ski school experience on our gap year and career break ski instructor programmes.
We are members of the Year Out Group, the UK study and work abroad trade organisation that requires both financial and safety checks plus minimum codes of practice. We are also members of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) “Know Before You Go” program. FCO booklets are available to all Skiforce potential instructors during their pre departure briefing day.
Unlike some organizations that teach Japanese, Canadian, New Zealand etc qualifications, we believe it is only correct that you learn to the British standard. You are most likely to teach to British students. So Skiforce uses the British Association of Snowsports Instructors (BASI) qualifications. First Alpine Level 1 and then Alpine Level 2 plus we include CRB and First Aid training.
A key part of any risk assessment is staff. We have our own Skiforce staff in resort, living with you. We want to ensure that not only do you pass both your Level 1 and the higher Level 2 instructors qualification, you also clear your Criminal Record Bureau check (CRB) and your First Aid courses, but also that that you have fun and ensure you want your ski season to never end!
