Our set menu chalets menu is written by Skiology brother Luke Turner, former Fortnum and Mason development chef, coupled with our excellent service we have a formula, that our guests and team come back for again and again.

A Typical Day in the Job

The role involves

Airport transfers (1 hr 20 mins)

Shuttling guests daily to the slopes (500m)

Recycling and refuse managment

Assisting in chalets with food prep

Maintaining hot tubs (training is given)

Logistics (making sure chalets have the required stock such as picking up last minute guest requests and shopping with the team)

Minor maintenance to chalets.

The role included complimentary meals (breakfast and dinner) and a slightly later start and earlier finish to the day than other team members. Most days will allow from around 11:00 – 16:00 to enjoy one’s full area lift pass with carte niege insurance.

Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate must have:

National insurance number
Full clean driving licence
Minimum 2 years professional driving experience
Over the age of 21 for insurance reasons, ideally over 25
1 winter ski season experience preferable

What we can offer you

Development at it’s core is about setting a goal and being accountable for achieving it. So in the weekly meeting we simply ask you to set a personal goal, then review it with you the following week.

You will benefit like our guests do from nutritionally balanced meals, quality non discount produce, organic wine etc. Another example is that we will coach you to finish quicker in the morning so that you get more time on the mountain – we all need a good work/mountain balance!

Not just to our guests but to each other. When you tell your manager that you will have to sit on the other side of the room at your weekly meeting because you have a cold and they turn up with freshly squeezed orange juice for you, that is 6/5 behaviour.

It goes without saying. We don’t want to finish the season looking like we have been locked in a mountain cabin for the season. Our goal is to finish the season as strong as we start and to not let little things become big things.
