Skiology well known for our foodie and environmental values are recruiting!
We believe happy team = happy guests, so we will ask you once a week if there is anything that we can do to help you achieve 6/5 happiness at work. Of course, you don’t have to wait until then to tell us!
As tour operators, we are all here for different reasons. At Skiology we are here because we believe in developing a better lifestyle. So what does this mean for you?
- Like our guests, you will benefit from nutritionally balanced meals, butcher chosen meat and organic wine.
- We all need a good work/mountain/chill balance so all of our chalets are really close to the piste to maximise mountain time. As a couple (where possible) you will be given your own apartment/room too.
- We believe that we can all win, while you are on our team you can make a global difference. Any saving you can make from our budget we donate to charity. Currently, Team Skiology support over 1,000,000 square foot of rainforest and annually feed the children supported by Msiziafrica.
We are a small team so you are certainly not a number with us. We foster an environment where you will be listened to, respected and rewarded.
Our set menu chalets menu is written by Skiology brother Luke Turner, former Fortnum and Mason development chef, coupled with our excellent service we have a formula, that our guests and team come back for again and again.

What we can offer you
Development at it’s core is about setting a goal and being accountable for achieving it. So in the weekly meeting we simply ask you to set a personal goal, then review it with you the following week.
Here are some previous successes…
Chef Tom learnt to speak French.
Host Alex completed his trick list.
Chef Bridget went vegan!
Host Aneta learnt to ski.
Manager Piers hit the gym.
Chef Pete learned to front flip.
We believe in a better lifestyle.
You will benefit like our guests do from nutritionally balanced meals, quality non discount produce, organic wine etc. Another example is that we will coach you to finish quicker in the morning so that you get more time on the mountain – we all need a good work/mountain balance!
We believe in fostering 6/5 behaviour.
Not just to our guests but to each other. When you tell your manager that you will have to sit on the other side of the room at your weekly meeting because you have a cold and they turn up with freshly squeezed orange juice for you, that is 6/5 behaviour.
We believe in acting professionally and respectfully.
It goes without saying. We don’t want to finish the season looking like we have been locked in a mountain cabin for the season. Our goal is to finish the season as strong as we start and to not let little things become big things.
If you believe that something is unfair, call for a pit-stop and lets take time to correct. From a brand point of view, fairness and equality is something really close to the director’s hearts – evident with charities that we work with.
