typical day A Typical Day in the Job

We are looking for an experienced leisure / tourism / hospitality manager to join our team as we prepare for the 2019/20 ski season. This is an involved and rewarding position managing standards across the full Ski Famille chalet portfolio in Les Menuires, La Plagne and Les Gets. You will be joining the team on a permanent basis.

The focus will be on achieving the highest possible standards of catering, cleanliness, health and safety and general service.

We are looking for someone who will constantly work to improve quality by supporting and coaching our chalet teams. You will have a keen eye for detail and a guest focussed approach to managing staff performance and improvements. You will work across all aspects of our chalet service.

The role reports directly to our Overseas Manager, but will also work closely with other senior management team members. There is the potential for this to be a year-round role with the summers spent helping to recruit and build our resort teams whilst based in our Fleet (Hampshire) office.

Chalet inventories and equipment
Food and beverage supplies and stock control


Person Attributes
The ideal candidate will have:

Very good level of written and spoken English
Organised, motivated and innovative
Experience of managing staff over multiple sites in a leisure / tourism / hospitality business
Ideally a French speaker
