Chalet Chef

typical day A Typical Day in the Job

Morning shift (7.15 -> finished prep):

-Snow clear if required

-Prepare and serve breakfast

-Complete health and safety paper work

-Prepare afternoon tea

-Complete prep for evening meal

-Clean kitchen

Evening shift (start time depends on the meals cooking time -> 9.30pm approx.)

-Finish and serve evening meal

-Wash up and clean down kitchen

Tuesday is stock take day

Friday the stocks are delivered to resort

Saturday is change over day and chefs are required to help with the chalet changeover

ideal candidate Who are we looking for?

Our chefs:
-Are qualified or are experienced in catering and have a passion for cooking
-Have a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene
-Are able to cook in a small customer facing kitchen
-Are generally lovely people who enjoy seeing satisfied happy guests

our offer What we can offer you

Competitive pay dependent on position and experience (paid in to UK bank account).

Accommodation, food, season lift pass, equipment rental, medical and personnel insurance, uniform, training.

1 full day off per week, 1 weeks holiday during the season (fixed dates).

All applicants must have a UK/ EU passport or visa to work in the UK, a UK bank account, a permanent UK national insurance number and must reside in the UK prior to the winter season.

Couples can apply with the other person taking any other role within the company - manager, chef, host
