A Typical Day in the Job
Reporting to the Area Manager you will assist with the overall smooth running of the resort.
As a Driver you will work on a rota basis to cover all logistical movements within resort; ferrying guests to/from lift stations, airport transfers, taking colleagues to/from work and assisting with resort logistics. As part of the transfer team you will be our guests first impression of the company, therefore a pride in appearance and a welcoming nature are paramount. You will be knowledgeable of the local area and be central point of contact & knowledge in resort. For this role you MUST hold a UK, Full, Clean Drivers License.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
o Transporting and loading/unloading of guests luggage to chalets/hotels
o Pick up/drop off of activity equipment, eg. Ski shop run
o Being the first impression of the company you will ensure that time keeping and personal presentation is paramount
o All journeys must be executed safely to ensure our guests are comfortable at all times.
o Perform daily and weekly maintenance checks on company vehicles as per company standards and paperwork
o Ensure mileage log books are kept up to date and within the vehicle
o Ensure vehicles are compliant with French regulations and that all legal
documentation such as tax, insurance, safety kit are kept up to date and in the vehicle at all times.
o Keeping the vehicle clean and presentable to guests, internally and externally at all times
o Assisting resort teams with ad hoc duties such as snow clearing, Hot Tub cleaning and maintenance, helping with deliveries including but not limited to; laundry, food, collection of chalet waste with delivery runs to the local recycling centre.
o Maintain company vehicles carrying out checks, booking vehicles in for routine services & MOTs.
o Adhere to UK and European driving laws
o Planning trips
o Completing resort & airport; transfers, logistics, staff movements, shopping, ski hire,
lift pass collection, office drop offs & collections
o Internal: Customers, Hotel Manager, Resort Chalet Manager, Resort Manager, Area
Manager, General Staff
o External: Suppliers, local authorities, airport staff
