Our chalet has a high number of staff allowing each individual time to enjoy the mountains and Alpine environment. Although the work can at times be demanding it should very much be an enjoyable experience. We want our staff to end the season with as much energy and enthusiasm as they started with. In return, we expect our staff to go that extra mile to provide our clients with a fabulous holiday experience.

Chef

The day starts around 7.30 with a hot breakfast, then there is time to prep for the evening meal and bake an afternoon tea.

In the middle of the day there is time to relax and enjoy the incredible skiing across the Portes du Soleil.

Around 17.30 you will be at the chalet to prepare canapés and the three course evening meal, with cheese board, for your guests. It is expected that you finish by 10pm.

On the changeover day it is all hands on deck to bid farewell to the departing guests and make the chalet ready to welcome new clients. This is also a time to ensure the kitchen is spotless and the larder well stocked.

There are 2 full days off per week.

Chalet Manager

The Manger will be responsible for client and staff welfare, ensuring the chalet operates smoothly. Clients will have a holiday full of great memories and the staff will have reasonable working hours and a positive ski chalet experience.

This will typically involve being available over breakfast and evening service with time off during the day to enjoy the stunning scenery and skiing in the Portes du Soleil with 2 full days off per week.

Chef
You will be responsible for creating a menu, sourcing ingredients to a defined budget and maintaining a hygienic and safe working environment.

Chalet Manger
You are responsible for the welfare of both clients and staff.
