Skiworld is the largest independently owned purely winter sports operator in the UK with a rich history of ski season employment dating back to 1982. We recruit seasonal staff during the winter for hospitality and guest service roles in resorts across France and Austria. We're actively seeking English-speaking applicants with EU passports (inc. dual-nationals) who have experience in hospitality, as well as British applicants. Our seasonaire roles are placed from December through to April.
The job description
a typical day in resort
You'll provide breakfast, afternoon tea and evening meals to your weekly guests and ensure the chalet is kept clean, tidy throughout their stay. Working either individually or as part of a team (depending on the size of chalet) you will act as a source of information be the first point of contact for any questions your guests may have.
Chalet Host positions run from mid-November until mid-April so you should be available to work throughout this period.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide breakfasts, afternoon teas and evening meals for guests in accordance with dietary requirements and the Skiworld six-day set menu plan.
- Ensure the chalet is kept clean and tidy and that health and hygiene standards are met throughout the season.
- Act as a source of information for guests and be the first point of contact for any guest queries, providing a high level of customer service at all times including carrying out a weekly welcome speech for new guests and issuing lift passes and ski hire/ski school vouchers as applicable.
