The course description
a typical day working on this ski season course

As this course is modules the day to day schedule will vary, however most days will follow a similar format.

You'll wake up and head for breakfast, then will meet for training or ski patrol shadowing between 8 and 9am. There will be a lunch break followed by an afternoon of training or patrolling. Enjoy an evening meal in resort at a choice of restaurants with your fellow ski patrol trainees.

Evenings can be spent at your leisure, however being a ski resort there is always entertainment of some sort available to join.

This course ends with an epic heli-skiing adventure day, included in the price.

Module 1: CPR ' BLS for Healthcare Professionals

Module 2: Non-Urban Occupational Emergency Care, Level 3

Module 3: Advanced Protocol Training

Module 4: Rope Rescue

Module 5: Aerial Lift Evacuation & Self Evacuation

Module 6: Patient Extrication & Evacuation

Module 7: Avalanche Skills Training, Level 1

Module 8: Risk Management

Module 9: Incident Investigation

Module 10: General Patrolling

Module 11: Helicopter Orientation, Air Evacuation, Air Rescue

Module 12: GPS & Compass Orientation

Module 13: Mentoring with ski patrol

the requirements for this course

This course requires a strong skiing or snowboarding ability, you must be fully competent on European red runs. This course is also a great additional training for ski and snowboard instructors looking to boost their employability and career prospects.
