a typical day in resort

Jack & Jill is a small, independent chalet company based in Morzine in the heart of the Portes du Soleil. For over 15 years we've been creating memorable mountain holidays for our guests, and we're looking for a Chalet Host couple (or two friends applying together) to join our friendly team for the winter season.
We're passionate about providing exceptional hospitality, but we also believe that a great guest experience starts with a happy team. We work hard, support each other, enjoy plenty of time on the mountain and make the most of everything alpine life has to offer.
The role of a Chalet Host is varied, rewarding and sometimes challenging. You'll be responsible for creating a warm, welcoming environment and ensuring guests enjoy an exceptional holiday from start to finish.
Job Description (including but not limited to..)
* Preparing and serving breakfast, afternoon tea and a quality evening meal for guests 5 days a week (that's 2 days off!)
* Catering for groups of 8–15 guests and accommodating a variety of dietary requirements
* Chatting with guests, offering recommendations and helping them make the most of their time in Morzine and the Portes du Soleil
* Keeping the chalet clean, organised and beautifully presented throughout the week
* Making beds, cleaning bathrooms and maintaining communal areas to a high standard
* Managing laundry and helping with weekly shopping
* Assisting with restaurant bookings, ski schools and other guest requests
* Driving guests where required and supporting resort operations
* Carrying out chalet changeovers, including thorough cleaning and preparation for incoming guests
* Assisting with chalet set-up and close-down at the beginning and end of the season
* Working closely with the wider Jack & Jill team to ensure everything runs smoothly
This is a hands-on role that requires energy, organisation and a positive attitude. We're looking for people who genuinely enjoy hosting, take pride in their work and are happy to go the extra mile to create memorable holidays for our guests.

Who We're Looking For
* Enthusiastic and hardworking individuals with a positive attitude
* Hospitality, catering or customer service experience is desirable but not essential
* Strong communication skills and fluent English
* Over 21 years old (due to driving requirements)
* At least one applicant must hold a full MANUAL driving licence valid for use in Europe
* A love of mountain life and being part of a close-knit team

Our package includes:
* Contribution towards transport from the UK to Geneva. We will collect you from Geneva and bring you to the resort
