The job description

a typical day in resort

Start your day skiing or snowboarding! Alternatively do some prep in the morning and start later in the evening - it's up to you.

The host will start 6.30 pm to prepare the table and serve dinner at 7.30 pm (potentially kids will eat at 6.15 pm, usually only in school holidays).

Sunday is changeover day and canapes are served at 7 pm, instead of a starter. Otherwise it's a three course dinner with plated starters and deserts. Main course is usually served family style on beautifully presented platters or serving bowls.

Shopping is delivered on Tuesday and Friday is the day off. An afternoon cake or cookies is required each day, excluding changeover and day off, but can be prepared the day before if easier.

It is a decent sized closed kitchen. The host will handle most conversation with the guests but some interaction may be needed. Accommodation is in the chalet with a bedroom with a double bed, a window and an en-suite bathroom.
