The job description
a typical day in resort

Ski and snowboard instructors will be responsible for a small group (average size 8 children) throughout a school’s stay with us.

Ski and snowboard instruction will be up to 6 hours per day, morning and afternoon. Our ski and snowboard instructors participate in a programme of evening activities, supervise meals and are assigned to some wake-up, lights-out and other duties.

All our staff must be a role model to the children in our care, acting responsibly and in a caring manner at all times and show understanding of and appreciation for diverse cultural backgrounds.

Who are we looking for?
what makes you the ideal candidate

Applicants should possess an internationally recognised ski and/or snowboard instructor qualification to PSIA 1/CSIA 1/CASI 1 level as well as a first aid and CPR qualification issued by a recognised body.

Successful applicants will have experience teaching skiing or snowboarding, ideally to children, and be organised, adaptable, trustworthy, patient and presentable. Most important is enthusiasm and having a friendly nature.

Applicants should be at least 21 years of age (exceptions are made for very experienced applicants), be fluent in English and have UK, EU or Swiss nationality.

Our staff and clients, although coming from throughout the world, all speak English. We are, however, based in French and German-speaking area of Switzerland, which offers a great opportunity to improve language skills.
