The job description
a typical day in resort

As a member of the hotel team, you will play a key role in the day to day running of the hotel. We are looking for experienced hotel workers to work in the reception, restaurant & bar, housekeeping and kitchen. You will work on a daily basis to ensure guest satisfaction is of the upmost standard, all areas of the hotel are cleaned to a high standard, be the main point of contact for guests, serve and produce food and drinks for the customers.

Our hotels are located in the border village of Karesuando, which straddles Sweden and Finland, along the renowned 'Northern Lights Route' - so called because it is one of the best places in the world to see the Aurora Borealis

Main Responsibilities:

• Offering all guests an excellent standard of hospitality throughout their stay.

• Being the first point of contact for any questions or queries guests may have.

• Daily administrative duties relating to the job role.

• Ensuring that you are visible and accessible and show a presence throughout the hotel.

• Prompt and efficient in solving any guest issues.

• Undertake any training and professional development as and when required.

• Undertake any other reasonable duties, commensurate within the job title, as may be determined by your line manager.

• Proven experience in a similar hospitality role.
• Fluency in spoken & written English.
• Proven ability to produce a high standard of work.
• Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
• Keen problem-solving skills and a proven ability to thrive in a fast paced working environment.
• Team-player, with ability to build and maintain strong, trusting, working relationships.
