Chalet Assistant

We are a small and friendly team looking for a Chalet Assistant to join us at the beautiful Chalet Mur, which dates back to 1860 and sits the beautiful village of St Michael, an unspoiled resort town, brimming with tradition, uncrowded slopes and friendly locals.

English is widely spoken in the area and not only is the skiing fun but the restaurants are inexpensive, it really is the perfect location to work this winter.

a typical day in resort

We are looking for an experienced Chalet Assistant to join us (Ben & Clare)

from mid November - April

The Role

• Helping Clare look after, love and care for the chalet

• Assisting with meal prep, cooking and baking ( we’ve had some

novices become great cooks & bakers over the years!)

• Serving all meals including breakfast and evening dinner and washing

up as we go.

• Daily admin and assisting with social media

• Efficient changeover of rooms

• Lots and lots of communication and fun with the guests

• Helping with ad-hoc jobs, especially on transfer days.

• Driving Licence is highly desirable

We know how important it is to get the most out of your time in the mountains,

exploring, skiing, chilling out etc. Working hours on ‘normal’ weeks will

generally be 7am-10am and 5pm-10pm.

Friday is ‘Shopping Day’ Saturday is ‘Changeover Day’ so hours are longer

but always include time to chill too.

Flexibility is a big requirement (from us and you) to make sure we all have a

great season.
