Who we are...

We are a small, family-run company dedicated to providing our clients with exceptional service in a truly relaxing environment. Starting out with 2 chalets in 2003, we have maintained our standards and organic growth now offer an impressive portfolio of 14 boutique chalets in the picturesque Courchevel and Meribel Valley in the heart of the world renowned Three Valleys skiing region with peaks of 3,230 metres making it one of the highest snow-sure skiing areas in Europe.

What we offer in return...

Accommodation, either in a shared chalet or an apartment, very competitive salary, meals when working, 2 full days off per week with lots of time in the day to enjoy the mountain and tips averaging 100 euros plus per week.

The job description
a typical day in resort

You will be required to provide an exemplary five day menu to our discerning guests. Together with your experienced chalet host you will manage your chalet in every aspect. Designing a hearty breakfast menu, afternoon tea selection and varied & sumptuous 4-course evening dinner menu, keeping high standards of cleanliness throughout the chalet, controlling stocks & weekly budgets, creating a warm welcoming atmosphere for our guests. You will receive a high food and wine budget to enable you to create individual and interesting dishes. In return we will give you a high level of autonomy, structured support and guidance from within a small dedicated team.

A perfect opportunity for a chef looking to take a break from busy restaurant kitchens and enjoy the mountains.

We look for talented and experienced chefs as fine food is at the heart of Alpine Escape. our teams are recognised for their individual flare, with each chef bringing new ideas and skills to each winter season. Chef requirements - These are simple – we need skillful chefs with great personalities.

You need to be a fully qualified chef with extensive experience in high quality restaurants (ie 2 rosettes or similar). Please submit a five day menu plan with your application alongside ideas for breakfast and afternoon tea. Please ensure you include the ‘wow’ factor!

We are looking for experienced chefs to join our small team and to be an integral part of our luxury chalet company. Fine food is at the heart of Alpine Escape and the team are recognised for their individual flare, with each chef bringing new ideas and skills to each winter season.

Our contracts are French CDD seasonal contracts (1725€ net per month), with shared accommodation available of a high standard within the resort near the piste and we offer 2 full days off per week.
