a typical day in resort
The role of chalet host is varied.
Our hotels and chalets need to be cleaned to the highest standards every morning and throughout the day on a “changeover” day.
Duties will include some basic food preparation, under the supervision of our chef, and breakfast, an afternoon snack and dinner will be served every day.
After every meal, there will be dishwashing and kitchen cleaning. There will be laundry duties throughout the week.
There will be occasional bar duties and sometimes some basic chalet maintenance.
Snow clearing will be assigned whenever required.
Chalet hosts must be a role model to the children in our care, acting responsibly and in a caring manner at all times.
Who are we looking for?

Successful applicants will have some experience of hospitality (hotel, restaurant) work and be organised, adaptable, trustworthy, patient and presentable. Most important is enthusiasm and having a friendly nature.
Applicants should be at least 21 years of age (exceptions are made for very experienced applicants) and have UK, EU or Swiss nationality.
Our staff and clients, although coming from throughout the world, all speak English. We are, however, based in French and German-speaking area of Switzerland, which offers a great opportunity to improve language skills.
