Bar Manager (French Speaking)

typical day
The job description
a typical day in resort

The role not only involves running the bar but also welcoming guests as the bar is opposite the reception, helping out in the restaurant (when all the guests are eating and no one is in the bar), and on Saturdays, there is an extra role of helping on the turnover day ... carrying sheets, helping hoover, carrying cases.

The job also involves managing the stock and ordering stock.

The bar manager is responsible for all hygiene and cleanliness in the bar and in the bar toilets (just next to the bar)

Bringing wood into the open fire from the stock and lighting the fire

Sweeping the bar terrasse when it snows

Taking reservations for the small wellness area (done at bar/reception)

Taking out empties and refilling stock at the end of every day.

The bar manager also closes up the bar at the end of the day and the front door of the hotel so needs to be very responsible/reliable.
