a typical day in resort
This role is ideal for someone who is calm under pressure, takes pride in safe and punctual driving, and enjoys providing excellent service in a busy alpine environment.
You will be based in Morzine with the rest of the Jack & Jill team. Your main responsibility will be transporting guests between Geneva Airport and their accommodation in the resort, primarily on Saturdays and Sundays. During the rest of the week, you will support the in-resort driving team by offering flexible lifts to and from the slopes, depending on guest needs and weather conditions. You will also support our luxury flagship chalet, Chalet Valambrun, on the host days off.
Key Responsibilities Include:
* Driving safely, confidently, and calmly in all road and weather conditions
* Transporting guests to/from Geneva Airport on weekends (mainly Saturdays and Sundays)
* Providing in-resort driving support for guest ski shuttles during the week
* Keeping your allocated vehicle clean, fuelled, and reporting any maintenance issues
* Performing regular vehicle checks (with occasional spot checks by management)
* Offering a warm welcome and friendly service to guests at all times
* Helping guests with luggage including skis, snowboards, and other heavy items
* Navigating to chalets and pick-up points efficiently and confidently
* Representing Jack & Jill professionally, with excellent personal presentation and a courteous manner
* Remaining calm, patient, and diplomatic in busy or unexpected situations

General Requirements
* Enthusiastic, reliable, and hardworking individuals who enjoy working as part of a team
* Aged 21+ (for insurance purposes)
* Hold a European passport or Carte de Séjour
Specific Requirements. You must also meet one of the following criteria:
* Hold a FULL D1 licence (with no 101 restriction)
* Hold a C or D licence
* Hold a B licence and have at least 2 years (or 2 seasons) of professional driving experience
* Hold a Taxi/Private Hire licence
You should have held your licence for a minimum of 3 years, with a strong and varied driving history. Excellent timekeeping, a good local sense of direction, and a customer-focused attitude are all essential.
